Seated passive thoracic rotations

What you should feel?? When performed correctly, you will feel a stretch in the low back and on the sides of your body.

Instructions:

  • Seated in a chair with your knees together
  • Twist and place one hand on your chair and one hand on your knee
  • Gently pull and push with your hands in order to passively rotate the thoracic spine
  • Continue to alternate sides
  • You should twist to your maximum comfortable range

  • Thoracic spine

This exercise is used mainly to gain more mobility of the lower back, especially in rotational movement.
