What you should feel?? When performed correctly, you will feel the muscles in your abdominal region working. You should not feel any pain in your lower back.

Instructions:

  • Laying on your back with your arms straight above you
  • Fold your body from your midsection keeping your arms and legs straight
  • Try not to throw your upper body, rather lift it in a controlled manner
  • You should feel this in your abdominals
  • Continue for the agreed amount of sets and reps

Main muscles targeted:

  • Abs
  • Core
  • Hip flexors

Main benefits:

A V sit-up is a challenging exercise for your midsection (abs and trunk flexors). This can be used to improve strength in the midsection including your hip flexors for certain rehabilitative reasons.
