Exercise Physiology
Our Exercise Physiology services cover any injury or illness. Whether you have been referred by a Doctor, WorkCover NSW or privately, we can cater for your needs. Our therapists are not only Exercise Physiologist, but are also Masters of Physiotherapy giving a unique and thorough perspective to your treatment. The combination of Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology treatment means that we have a much more comprehensive strategy for rehab. We train our clients in our own gym on premises or at a pre-organised area. We also have connections with Fitness First, Anytime Fitness or Plus Fitness in Mona Vale for any patient needing access to commercial gym equipment. On top of this, we have a number of mobile units with all necessary equipment to be able to train clients either at their home, at their workplace or at an appropriate designated area.
All Holistic Physio Fitness therapists have a degree in both Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy, and are qualified and registered Exercise Physiologists with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia), also holding WorkCover NSW approval numbers to allow them to treat workers compensation patients. On top of that, all therapists are Masters of Physiotherapy, giving them the edge on our competitors. This above all increases safety and understanding of the needs of our clients.
Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) specialise in clinical exercise interventions for people at risk of developing, or with existing chronic and acute medical conditions and injuries. AEPs are recognised allied health professionals working across a variety of areas in the health, exercise and sports science fields. In other words we are here to assist in restoring a patient’s optimal physical function, health or wellness, especially following on after Physiotherapy treatment, or in conjunction with.
